Letter from the President...

The origin of the DREADSOCK goes back about eleven years. I began growing my dreads and told myself, that if I was going to make this commitment, I was going to take the best possible care of them. I was going to dispel all of the negative stereotypes that come along with having dreadlocks. If you have dreads/locks, then I'm sure you've heard the stereotypes; they're dirty, you can't wash your dreadlocks, they stink, they have bugs in them, they are not neat, etc. So to all of my fellow dreadlock wearers, I have designed and developed the DREADSOCK for you.

For whatever reason you decided to lock your hair (and there are many reasons), you understood the commitment you were taking on. Growing dreads/locks takes time commitment, and the longer you grow them, the more pride you take in your dreadlocks. For me, my dreadlocks symbolize spiritual and individual growth. They symbolize patience and meticulous care for a work of art. When I started growing my dreads, there were not nearly as many people with dreadlocks as there are today. They are becoming more socially acceptable in just about every setting, be it corporate, entertainment, sports, education, medical, etc. You can see people wearing locks proudly anywhere and everywhere. They are on the cusp of mainstream style and are now very fashionable in many circles.

However, one issue remains, and this is the focal point of our line of DREADSOCK products. The most critical factor in having healthy beautiful locks...
the care you must take of your hair when you sleep.

Trust me when I tell you over the past 11 years I have tried everything on my dreads when I sleep. Keep in mind, while you are sleeping your dreads/locks are susceptible to many things, including:
